More Free Samples -

When we shipped the XenApp 6.5 Mobility SDK Application (XAMA SDK for short) last December, it included documentation and samples. Unfortunately, documentation and samples are not linked together on web pages and it was not obvious that the samples were there.

That changed this week.

The SDK team have updated the Web documentation to include samples and allow downloading. But wait, there's more. Not only the original samples included but we also have new samples for programs based WinForm-C #.

The Official Site of the SDK documentation is http://citrix.com/mobilitysdk/docs.

Our recent plans revolved around the updating of documentation more often and do all this online instead of waiting for the next version of the shipping SDK. This means that the existing PDF document will be replaced by the online documentation.

It was quite an experience to embrace doxygen as the main tool to generate the SDK documentation. It was the right choice and we have not exhausted the possible uses for it. More recently, I explored what it would take to support other languages written with Japanese being the highest priority.

If you're raring to go right to the samples, the link is http://citrix.com/ mobilitysdk / docs / cmpsamples.html. If you just want to download the whole samples at once, get the lot.

We spent a good amount of time creating new samples and also revamping the ones we had. Overall, the samples are easier to read and make it clear how they work.

If you have not heard, our Mobility Pack will be supported by XenDesktop in a not too distant future. This will support a new base of users with the same set of APIs.

Interest in the SDK is growing and it is interesting to see the developers think of new uses for their clients. We are still in the first hour, but things are moving much faster than I thought. We shipped there about three months.

For me, the most positive feedback comes from developers who want more. This means that we still have a bright future for more advanced versions. The process of an evolutionary product secures a position on the market.

So do not forget to collect your free samples. Be the first of your peers.
