Citrix XenClient had a strong presence at Citrix Synergy Barcelona. There were a number of sessions, new product announcements and demos from partners who have continued to show interest and market a strong momentum of Citrix XenClient. In this post we will review the news of the event and present a technical webinar next that is filled with details of the new XenClient 2.1.
Our first announcement was living with Login Consultants. You can read about the new XenClient and Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Integration Toolkit Connecting Consultants in blog Manu Chauhan, the press release Login Consultants and Jeroen van de Kamp on brianmadden.com blog. Demo Login Consultants has been a great success in the stand Citrix XenClient!
The second announcement was the new XenClient 2.1. What in this new version? The Peter Blum blog will give you a good technical overview of the release. Blog Angela Carducci give you a good idea of what this means for your business. The business blog includes some customer testimonials about XenClient and a quote from Mitch Parker, vice president and general manager of Citrix Systems Virtualization Division. - Peter Blum started our sessions Synergy as a panelist at Geek Speak Live - Client hypervisors vs. VDI . You can watch a replay of the session here.
- During the Citrix Summit, Manu Chauhan Citrix XenClient team and Dr. Ryan Durante, head of the area of Croix Solutions and Innovation section Lab Air Force Research, AFRL / RIEB addressed the Citrix partners with community their session on FlexCast: Pull local party VM (XenClient) Desktops for desktop PC Mobility . It was great to see the interest of the partners in the session
- Later in the show, Raymond Chew team XenClient presented with Dr. Durante at a well-attended session on FlexCast : local VM (XenClient) Desktops Go mobile.
- Douglas Brown, founder DABCC.com closed the show with a fantastic session on XenClient best practices with Douglas Brown, using more layers of virtualization to simplify the Windows Desktop Management . Do not miss the replay here.
