NetScaler is Common Criteria Certified (CCC)! This certification is really almost every year, but it's always exciting to talk later because of all the work that everyone put into it. Citrix Common Criteria is provided in this link. This link provides details on different documents of common criteria for navigation and search procedures in the actual CCC. The entire CCC process is labor intensive and affects many different people in engineering, DevTest, product management, operations and even sometimes of manufacture. Citrix is so committed to providing secure software to our customers that there is a fair dedicated team to Common Criteria Certifcation. The Common Criteria represents the outcome of efforts to develop criteria for IT security evaluation that are widely useful within the international community. There is an alignment and development of a number of source criteria: the existing European, US and Canadian criteria (ITSEC, TCSEC and CTCPEC respectively). The Common Criteria resolves the conceptual and technical differences between the source criteria. It is a contribution to the development of an international standard, and opens the way for mutual recognition worldwide of the results of the evaluation.
Criteria developments in Canada and the European ITSEC countries follow the original work US TCSEC (Orange Book). The development of US federal criteria was a first attempt to combine these with other criteria TCSEC, and eventually led to the current pooling of resources towards the production of the Common Criteria.
