The actions NetScaler Command Center all relevant device properties need to be shared to a user in the device properties tab repeater devices. De NetScaler Command Center 5.0 beta, we introduced details of two other attributes repeater devices, QoS status and serial numbers.
Let's make a quick sneak peek on these two attributes to understand their functionality and suitability to the command center.
Serial Number:
there was a new implementation of the write current serial numbers before the DMI it leaves the factory. Whereas, the repeater devices shipped between a given time period, only the serial number on the back of the physical devices. From the 5.5.4 / 2.0.4 firmware, serial numbers will be available on the GUI, LCD consoles CLI, XML-RPC pools and SNMP MIB as well.
De NetScaler Command Center 5.0, you will be able to see the serial number information repeater devices that are at least running 5.5.4 firmware. Information such as inventory using devices made using repeaters and Citrix support team at the opening of the cases. Command Center displays two values for serial numbers
- The serial number of the unit -. If the serial numbers are written on the DMI Repeater devices and they are upgraded to 5.5.4 or above, the Command Center quickly display the devices serial number.
- Not available from the unit - This message will be displayed for the reasons listed:
- If the repeater device is a device VPX
- If the software has not been updated to firmware 5.5.4 or above
- If the serial number is not written on the DMI devices
QoS Status :.
This status means if traffic shaping is enabled on repeater devices or not. It is available from the repeater 5.5.5 and 5.7.1 releases only. There are three values of this attribute:
- 1 - The traffic shaping function is activated at the repeater device
- 2 - The formatting function traffic is turned off at the repeater device
- 0 - This means that the repeater device does not support the SNMP protocol OID. This will usually be shown other than 5.5.5 and 5.7.1 releases of repeater devices.
